The EDUAGRI project (Multilevel education system for agile agri-food chains) is aimed at the joint development of higher education programmes at several levels in the specific field of agile management of agricultural and food chains. The programmes will include development of curricula for undergraduate and graduate study of agri-food chain management. The project will also develop lifelong learning programs for farmers and stakeholders in the food industry. Namely, due to specific, but also similar situations in both countries, these programs aim to improve competitiveness in the agri-food sector through development of dynamic management of production processes and marketing of agri-food products at the local level. The newly developed study programs will provide a modern and practical insight into the management of agri-food chains.
The target groups for these programs will be current and future students of the Križevci College of Agriculture and MATE Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences Kaposvár Campus, current decision makers in the agri-food sector, owners of farms in Croatia and Hungary, agricultural associations, small and medium enterprises in the food industry and associations of agricultural and food producers. The planned implementation time of the project is twenty months.
